For International Runners

Planning on going to Worlds in Scotland this October? If you’re based in the British Isles or continental Europe, you have just a short trip to Edinburgh this year. So if you’re itching for some Netrunner-fueled travel, here’s the perfect excuse to pack your bags and fly west to Vancouver!

For players in Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand: Scotland is literally on the other side of the planet, and that’s a long way to go. If Worlds feels out of reach, why not make Vancouver your big Netrunner adventure this year? With its top-tier competition and unforgettable setting, this event is the perfect excuse to visit our fair city. And despite the long distance, there are many direct flights available.

The Main Event(s)

• Day 1: the standard tournament event. Number of rounds will be based on attendance
• Day 2: excitement ramps up with the top cut of the standard tournament and an array of side events. Those side events include:
  • Startup or Throwback Tournament – this will be determined closer to the time
  • Cube Draft – build a wild deck from our cube list. List to come, as we’ll be including Elevation cards in it (which is yet to be released at the time this article is being published)
  • Board Games – let’s play some runner favourites. We have Slay the Spire (everyone’s favourite roguelike in tabletop form) and New Angeles available, plus many more
• Both days will also feature:
  • Gunslinging – Challenge staff to a game and win unique prizes.
  • Learn-to-Play Sessions – Perfect for bringing new runners into the fold.

We’ll have prizes galore; here’s a sneak peek for you:

• The official Megacity prize kit (details from NSG are yet to be revealed)
• The NANPC attendance prize alt art of Charlotte Caçador, featuring local runner and 2024 NANPC champion, Ryan “Hams” Berg
