Complexity is the key for Chris, corp-side, as he seeks to constantly keep the runner guessing. And like many of his teammates in the TAI Breakers testing group, Chris enjoys runners with unfiltered aggression. While Hoshiko Shiro is no longer able to carry for him, Chris will be sure to find other ways to sustain his pressure this upcoming weekend.
Bubblingbeebles is one of the most consistently strong oldheads, posting top tournament finishes even before the advent of Alwaysberunning.net. As a member of the Steel City Grid, The Board, and QTM testing groups, they have plenty of irons in the fire. While they may have a penchant for Ob, they’ve shown that they can take almost any faction and put up a strong finish with it.
“Sanjay loves nurturing pet factions, running aggressively, and giant ice.” These are words written last year about Sanjay that ring especially true now, given his undefeated finish at NANPC New Jersey last weekend. As a judge, player, and creator triple threat, keep an eye out for him to be doing any or all three this weekend in Philly.
NANPC Philly is sure to provide exciting games and equally exciting decks this coming weekend. Be sure to keep an eye on these players, and check back afterwards for a recap of the weekend’s events.
In a field dominated with players trying to Control the Message, Joshua stuck to his guns and brought one of the splashiest decks of legacy Netrunner. When not organizing tournaments for Torsaug City Grid or writing blog posts on lotuseater.net, he’s constantly found ways to confound and enervate his opponents from both sides of the playmat. See if he has what it takes this weekend to outmaneuver the competition.
Also a local champion, Brandon needs little introduction. He is a part of the TAI Breakers testing group, and has placed well at top tournaments when not voicing hot takes on his King’s Court podcast. With a propensity for decks that will flatline you and blow up your ice and assets, Brandon is set to bring a pair of truly aggressive decks this weekend.
NANPC Toronto is sure to provide exciting games and equally exciting decks this coming weekend. Be sure to keep an eye on these players, and check back afterwards for a recap of the weekend’s events.
Chris has been a long-time staple of the competitive Netrunner scene. As a member of the Snare Bears testing team, he’s always had a fondness for Shaper decks, but has found his running stride with Criminal. Whatever he’s planning on bringing, it’s sure to be controlling, grindy, and looking to leverage incremental value wherever it can be found.
As an up-and-coming runner, Wynaut has been making a splash in tournaments since they started a year ago, and they were quickly brought into the Meeting of Minds testing group. When given a choice of faction pins, Wynaut went for the superior-colored purple of Haas-Bioroid, but is eagerly looking forward to winning their Shaper pin to match it for the upcoming season.
Previously the TO of last year’s NANPC New Jersey, Lucas is returning as a fierce competitor. With a strong season’s worth of finishes and a brand new Boston accent, he’s looking to put up a strong finish for himself and the TAI Breakers testing group. Just be sure to keep an eye out for Ob tricks, as Lucas knows them all.
NANPC New Jersey is sure to provide exciting competition and spicy brews this coming weekend. Be sure to keep an eye on these players, and check back afterwards for a recap of the weekend’s events.
CyberShark is a returning Netrunner player from the before times. He is a member of the Janktinho and Scrubs testing teams where he can be found info-dumping about statistics (read: complaining about variance). In the 2025 season, he played primarily Sable and Ob before switching to Restoring Humanity after the Cybersand ban. With Sable banned, and Ob and RH getting new tech (Méliès U is new tech for RH, right?) It is hard to say exactly what he will pick for Districts, but IDs that reward strong ICE-oriented play are sure to make an appearance.
The reigning Cascadia champion has come to defend her Seattle title. A solid member of both the Scrubs and QTM testing groups, Lia is a star player to watch this coming weekend. With a love for Dolls (Matryoshka), Cezve, Sable, and AU Co, it’s hard to say where the new meta will take her, but her focus on controlling the flow of the game is sure to take advantage of any mistakes opponents throw her way.
A member of Null Signal’s rules team, Cephalopod Wizard appropriately loves elaborate engines, and making esoteric cards work for him. While both Ob and Baz have caught his eye for all sorts of engine trickery, you might also catch him with a honest-to-goodness combo deck such as his Synapse & Mutually Assured Destruction special. With fresh cards from Vantage Point, who knows what powerful interactions will appear in his next deck?
NANPC Seattle is sure to be a thrilling start to the new season. Keep an eye on these players, and check back after for a recap of the weekend’s events.
Wenjong placed well at five separate NANPC events. He won NANPC Midwest (Off the Grid), came in 3rd at NANPC New Jersey, and finished 10th overall at NANPC Montreal. Doing well at Montreal was important, as this whopping 92-player event supplied the majority of leaderboard points.
In a format with Criminals and Anarchs doing well, Wenjong stuck to his guns, piloting Lat in all five events attended. He also brought his signature Issuaq decks to three tournaments, with a LEO rounding out his performance in Montreal and an AU Co in Boston.
Coming in second was two-time NSG World Champion Sokka. He posted impressive finishes at NANPC Montreal (3rd) and NANPC Los Angeles (1st). He piloted Sable quite well in both tournaments, and his strong showing with a Nebula kill deck put meat damage back on the menu.
Next was sebastiank, whose sole stunning performance at NANPC Montreal (1st) was enough to propel him to third place on the leaderboard. His Sable was well teched for the expected Au Co field, but his Precision Design made a large splash in the meta, inspiring many a Netrunner player to Big Deal their own Salvo Testings.
Thanks to organizers and players alike for making this NANPC season great. Stay tuned after the holiday season as we learn more about NSG’s upcoming set, Vantage Point, and find out where you can attend NANPC events, including four new locations, for the 2026 season.
A newer player to the Netrunner scene, laura_42 made numerous splashes in the competitive meta, most notably with a brain-burning deck using the full power of Dewi. She’s part of both the SCRUBS and QtM testing groups who she credits for much of her rapid growth. With the ability to absorb on-meta decks combined with the fearlessness to choose unorthodox ones when needed, who knows what threats laura_42 will present this weekend?
While he was able to place well with an NBN: Reality Plus deck at last years’ Worlds, Aureates is still on the lookout for a replacement for his true favorite NBN, 6-Agenda Azmari Glacier. A member of the Snare Bears testing team, Aureates is looking forward to dazzling Boston’s tournament with a Criminal (or Shaper) deck filled to the brim with disruptive Run Events.
NANPC Boston is sure to be a fascinating finish to the 2025 Worlds Season. Keep an eye on these players, and check back after for a recap of the weekend’s events.
An avid Criminal and HB player, Redino987 enjoys presenting puzzles to opponents, from “how can withstand early aggression?” to “how can I escape this complicated Corp prison?” Solid fundamentals and a keen eye for pressure points are likely to keep opponents on their toes. Watch out and take action before his plans become Fully Operational.
Sanjay loves nurturing pet factions, running aggressively, and giant ice. He has pursued Netrunner accolades both great and small. Perhaps more importantly, he is a curator of alternative formats – if you’ve ever strived for the title of Queen Bee, or competed in an OKORINA tournament, you know who to thank. Keep a look out for his outside-the-box deck ideas to take the competition by surprise.
NANPC Philly is looking to be an exciting start to the 2025 Worlds Season. Keep an eye on these players, and check back after for a recap of the weekend’s events.
